Since the release of ‘Paradigm Shift’ and our new website, the SlashTHREE collective has been working feverishly on several new projects. The first of which, dubbed the “New Era” project, has been one of the most ambitious and well received in the collective’s history. We were humbled by the invitation to present at this years OFFFestival in Barcelona where we unveiled 'New Era' for the first time.
The project showcases 21 never before seen pieces in addition to 20 'classics' from the last several exhibitions we have dubbed the 'hertigage' section. The book is available now for pre-order in our online shop and will be offered at a discounted rate of $15.00 (50% off) through July 16th so be sure to pick up a copy right away! Additionally, we are formally releasing the project as our 16th exhibition available to view on our website.
A special thanks to Sorin Bechira, Saad Moosajee, Diego L. Rodriguez, Luis Miguel Torres, and our sponsors MAXON and Proof7 who guided the project from concept to print.
With out further ado we proudly present New Era.
Thank you,
SlashTHREE Public Relations

Threadless: Ten Years of T-shirts from the World's Most Inspiring Online Design Community
It's hard to believe that Threadless have been going since 2000. 10 years is a long time in internet terms and during that time we've definitely seen some big names fall by the wayside. So what makes them special, simple really, awesome t-shirt designs created and voted for by a great community.

This book charts not only the rise and rise of Threadless but also showcases 300 of the very best t-shirt designs from over the past decade.
I'd love to see laFraise and teeFury do a similair book (hint!).

BEYOND ULTRAMAN: Seven Artists Explore the Vinyl Frontier
Originally "BEYOND ULTRAMAN: Seven Artists Explore the Vinyl Frontier" was LATDA's first major exhibition, showcasing seven famous artists and literally hundreds of their works and collectibles. The show was held in partnership with PMCA (Pasadena Museum of California Art) and ran for three successful months, through the holidays of 2007 and into the new year of 2008.
The book is an essential read for anyone interested in urban vinyl and the designer toy phenomenon. It features work from Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, David Gonzales, Brian McCarty (see my Adult Toy Photography for more info), David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim (creators of the ugly dolls) and Mark Nagata.

The Telephone Doodle Book
Ever spent a lengthy phone call bemoaning the state of the world, only to hang up the receiver and discover that during this time you've doodled a masterpiece worthy of Picasso or a collection of matchstick figures to rival those of Lowry? Or perhaps you've just been waiting in a dreaded telephone queue for what seems like an eternity? Since the invention of the telephone, people have occupied their idle hands during phone conversations, engaging their brain, tongue, ear and hand in a wonderful creative union. "The Telephone Doodle Book" gives direction to these mindless biro musings and provides inspiration for leagues of telephone doodlers all over the country. Containing over two hundred incomplete doodles to get you started, which are beautifully drawn as well as wickedly witty, the opportunities are endless. "The Telephone Doodle Book" is the perfect quirky stocking filler for your doodler this Christmas!
